Fishing at Lac de Pareloup
Lac de Pareloup, located in Aveyron, Salle-Curan City, one of the largest freshwater lakes in France, is a famous destination for sport fishing and water recreation. Renowned for its abundant population of pike, zander, and perch, the lake attracts anglers from France and neighboring European countries.
Kimple, the leading aluminum bass boat designer and manufacturer from China, held its first Kimple Fishing Cup here in Lac de Pareloup from May 23-24. Nearly 40 Kimple boats and the boat owners gathered for a weekend of exciting and friendly competition in the Kimple fishing community.
The Event and the Feedback
The event was organized by Kimple's dealer in France, Barque de Peche, in Aveyron with the support of the Salles-Curan City Hall, recognized by FFPS. To ensure fair competition among participants, anglers competed in two separate categories: one allowing live technology and one without. Rankings were determined by the cumulative length of fish validated by official stewards.
In the 2-day event, 176 fish were counted with a perfectly balanced split between the two formats: 88 live and 88 non-live catches. A rare balance J.

The Kimple Fishing Cup strengthened the connection among anglers, dealers, and the wider Kimple boat owners community. With the success of its inaugural edition, the event has laid a strong foundation for future Kimple fishing tournaments in Europe.
