19 to 20 of Oct., 2024, theMercury Fishing Cup and the French Freshwater Predator Boat Fishing Championship took place at Lake Vassivière, France. The event was organized by FFPS/Carnassier and Mercury Marine France. As the most important and eye-catching fishing tournament in France in the year, there are total 204 anglers and 102 boats participated the tournament.
Kimple was proud to be one of the official Premium Partners in the event. Together with the French partner, Barque de pêche, Kimple supported the tournament and demonstrated the brand's long-term commitment to the European fishing market and professional fishing tournament.
During the event, 11 Kimple boats appeared on the site, making Kimple one of the most visible aluminum fishing boat brands at the tournament. The participating Kimple models included:

Among them, the Venus 2090 equipped with a Mercury 250 Pro XS engine became one of the largest Kimple boats in the competition. The boat showed excellent stability, performance, and handling on the water throughout the event.
During the two-day tournament, all teams demonstrated strong professionalism and fair sportsmanship. Kimple is proud of all teams competing with Kimple boats and is pleased to see the brand continue to grow its presence in the French fishing boat market.
Beyond the competition itself, the Mercury Fishing Cup also served as an important platform for anglers to exchange techniques and share experiences. Before the event, Kimple actively supported promotion activities through social media, on-site displays, and live broadcasts, further increasing the brand's visibility in the European market.
