2. Impeller cover positioning
According to the pulling axis, the position of the impeller cover is corrected by adjusting the tool centering. The theoretical axis angle of the impeller cover flange is required to be 90 degrees, and the deviation is less than plus or minus 0.02 degrees; the deviation between the flange center and the theoretical axis is less than 0.2 mm, the gap between the impeller cover and the stern sealing plate is about 20mm. After the positioning and installation are completed, fix the impeller cover.
Three, GRP elbow installation
The GRP elbow is pre-installed on the basis of the impeller cover flange; then, based on the elbow, adjust the position of the cut flange of the inlet runner and fix it by spot welding.
Remove the GRP elbow, add flanges for welding to strengthen the tooling, install and weld the runner flange, and check the GRP elbow. With drilling the bolt holes of the flange of the connecting end of the GRP elbow and the runner, the pair of screws are installed and tightened.
After installing the GRP elbow, pour epoxy and drill the bolt holes for the impeller cover.
Four, pump shaft, jet pump, shaft seal installation
Use nylon rope to hoist the drive shaft to the inlet runner and tail pipe. Remove the locking ring on the pump unit and the O-ring on the coupling, and hoist the pump unit from the hoisting ring to the impeller cover.
Install the jet pump unit on the aluminum alloy boat, put the special grease on the spline part of the drive shaft, insert the drive shaft into the impeller coupling, check the gap between the impeller and the coupling, any diagonal value is less than or equal to 0.15mm, install O type Ring and locking ring. Install the tail shaft sealing device. Install support bearings and couplings.
